Steeped in British radio history The Wireless Company (TWCfm) first broadcast as a pirate radio station in 1984 to Nottingham and Lincoln.
The station broadcast twice weekly and soon gathered a loyal audience and attracted the attention of the authorities.
Throughout the 80’s and 90’s the station continued to broadcast and fight for a full time radio license.
TWCfm broadcasts radio the way it was always meant to be.
With its roots firmly in the pirate era the station is always on, or just beyond the line and is totally free form radio........No playlists.
